An Obsession #

I’ve been described as having a “large range of interests”, and while not incorrect, people usually just assume I have a lot of hobbies. They’re not hobbies, they’re obsessions. There’s a distinction here: I can’t help myself. I get attached to something; a problem, a puzzle, something that needs a concusion and I become fixated on it and I can’t stop. I think about it day-in day-out. My friends, every single one of them, hear the same pitch for weeks at a time. It doesn’t matter the topic, I talk about it I think about it I converse about it necessantly.
